Almost 30% of older non-EU citizens report bad health

BRUSSELS, 4th November, 2024 (WAM) -- Nearly 28 percent of non-EU citizens aged 65 and over living in the European Union "perceived themselves to be in bad or very bad state of health" in 2023, according to Eurostat data.

By contrast, only 16.6 percent of older citizens from other EU countries and 18.3 percent of nationals reported such state of bad health.
