International media have reported that Israeli airstrikes on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, have resulted in over 20 deaths.

Reuters reported on Tuesday, November 12, that Israel launched a new wave of airstrikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, among the casualties were individuals displaced due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

The ministry’s statement indicated that Israel targeted not only Hezbollah positions but also villages south of Beirut.

The Israeli military issued a statement claiming that it targeted Hezbollah positions in the “Dahiyeh” area, destroying most of the group’s rocket facilities.

These developments come amid intensified clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in recent months.

Additionally, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported separate Israeli military attacks resulting in 15 deaths in the Chouf region, eight in the mountainous area known as Aley, and seven in the towns of Tefahta and Roumine.

According to Lebanese officials, the death toll from Israeli attacks since September has exceeded 3,300.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has led to significant civilian casualties and widespread displacement in Lebanon. The international community continues to call for restraint and a peaceful resolution to prevent further loss of life and instability in the region.
