Who Is The Rock's Wife? Everything to Know About Singer Lauren Hashian
It can sometimes feel like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been a Hollywood star since the beginning of time. While he started out as a WWE wrestler who famously feuded with Steve Austin and won several WWE Heavyweight titles, in the last two decades Johnson has cemented his place as one of the big blockbuster players.
Through his many roles, viral (and wildly entertaining) interviews with comedian Kevin Hart, and red carpet appearances, his wife Lauren Hashian has been by his side. While she keeps her life a little more private than The Rock, she has a notable career, too.
"Since my man spends much of his life in front of a camera, I’m a little more reserved with stepping out and being ‘out there’ as much,” she said in an interview with Vydia in 2017. “It just gives us balance, and makes you appreciate privacy and a ‘normal’ life even more. I think we’ve done a good job of being able to hold onto that somewhat!”

The Pair Met in 2006
Prior to marrying Hashian, Johnson was married to American film producer and businesswoman Dany Garcia. While the pair officially divorced in 2008 after 10 years of marriage, Garcia helped Johnson navigate his transition from wrestler to actor.
Though Johnson was still married to Garcia when he met Hashian on the set of The Game Plan in 2006, the duo quickly hit it off. In 2007, Hashian and Johnson began dating. The Jumanji actor later told WSJ that the pair weren't exactly looking for anything when they met since Johnson and his ex had just split.
“At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany and [Hashian] was just coming off a big breakup, too,” he said. “Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over.”
According to his interview with WSJ, Johnson was fearful of getting married the second time around, but Hashian's patience made it that much easier to finally say "I do" after 12 years of dating. In 2019, they wed in a secret wedding in Hawaii and finally made their relationship legally official.

They Share Two Daughters
While Johnson has one daughter with his ex-wife, he also shares two daughters with Hashian. The couple welcomed their first child, Jasmine, on December 16, 2015, and their younger daughter, Tiana, on April 17, 2018.
Being a working mom is tough for anyone, especially when your husband is a megastar constantly on the go.
“Having babies definitely does change the landscape of your life, [and] you have to figure out what works for you," she said in a 2018 interview with Coveteur. "In my case, we travel so much for work. We’re moving sometimes five or six times a year. We moved to London, which is where we are right now. I do feel like I have to be the one constant and the one foundation in the girls’ life, so every single day I’m with them from the time they wake up until nap time."
She went on to describe how she makes it all work—moving around her schedule to ensure she doesn't miss much of her girls' lives.
"It’s amazing when you have kids and you have goals, you just find a way to fit it all in, and you don’t necessarily work harder with your time, you just work smarter and find a way to get it all done.”

She’s in the Entertainment Industry, Too
According to her LinkedIn, Hashian has been in the entertainment industry since graduating from Emerson College in 2006. While she originally got her degree in public relations and communications, she's always had a love for music. In her early career days, Hashian worked as a creative synch coordinator at Warner Music Group before moving on to work in the music department at Paramount Pictures.
“For years, I was really afraid of singing publicly,” she said in a 2021 interview with Billboard. “You see these artists like Olivia Rodrigo or Billie Eilish, who are so young, but they have the guts to put themselves out there, to share their songs. It’s incredible. And I think for me, looking back, I was never that kid.”
It wasn't until she had her two daughters that she finally had the courage to live out her dreams.
“I was too shy of a kid, and I really wasn’t not shy until … I became a mother,” she added. “And then I felt way more confident in my own body and my own feelings. It was like, ‘Well, you can’t be scared of anything anymore, because you don’t want to teach your kids that, right?’”
While the singer has been in the music industry in one form or another since college, it wasn't until 2020 that she really started to take her music career more seriously. In 2020, she released “Ride the Wave” with Natalie Martinez and Naz Tokio, and a year later released an EP titled Love… And Other Things (Side A).
Hashian and Johnson Love to Support Each Other
While Hashian can often be seen alongside Johnson at premieres and gushing about their love on her Instagram, it's clear Johnson is supportive of her own ambitions.
"Dwayne has been such a major driving force in my inspiration. He is my motivator and my sounding board every day. Always giving me notes on the work, always motivating me to outdo my last effort. Honestly, if I impress him with a track then I feel accomplished, it’s true," she told Vydia. "He is an example of how anything you can imagine or dream up, you can do because he lives that way. So when you see that every day, it fuels you and lifts you up, too. Also, being in love is a very inspiring thing—all of our experiences, from the good to the fun to the sexy to even the not-so-good, provide great inspiration to write from."
While Johnson's Instagram is mostly made up of pictures of him working and working out (peep his massive quads in this IG post), he's no stranger to celebrating his lady.
Last Mother's Day, Johnson took to social media to tell the world all about his beautiful wife.

"One human here is illuminated today on Mother’s Day because she is blessed from the heavens above with kindness, empathy, compassion, beauty, and an abundance of musical talents that can only be God-given with the voice and harmonies of an angel—all while being the greatest mama in the world to our babies," he said. "The other human here ruins songs by making up vulgar lyrics, followed by a very sinful laugh, while confidently singing in keys that don’t exist—and upon being questioned about song structure, he’ll simply insist, 'We make up the rules.' And I’m quite sure there’s tequila in his energy drink can. Happy Mother’s Day @laurenhashianofficial."
