Arizona regulators fine natural gas utility over defective piping
PHOENIX, Arizona: State regulators have fined Southwest Gas US$2 million over safety concerns involving defective piping prone to degradation in high temperatures.
The Arizona Corporation Commission announced the penalty on November 8, along with a consent agreement requiring the utility to conduct more frequent inspections.
