La Bombonera Argentina
Went on a walking tour around Barrio De La Boca yesterday, which ended up at Boca Juniors stadium. Sadly, stadium tours aren't permitted at the moment, but it was still a great experience.
The whole area is a vibrant community with colourfully painted zinc shacks from the early arrival of immigrants into the country.
Lots of displays tango dancing,, music and asados (Barbecued meat).
Boca Juniors reminded me a little of us. Located in a working class part of the city. Often in the shadow of their neighbours, although more successful than us and they also wear blue.
If you ever find yourself in Buenos Aires, be sure to do the walking tour of La Boca, I can highly recommend.
