I’m A Celebrity latecomers revealed as reality star and Strictly favourite enter jungle days after rest of the cast
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s two late arrivals can be revealed as a stunning Love Islander and former Strictly star.
The duo will join the likes of Coleen Rooney, Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones in Ant and Dec’s jungle camp a week into this year’s star-spangled series.
They are Maura Higgins, 33, and Reverend Richard Coles, 62.
The Sun told how they were part of the 12 household names heading Down Under in the full line-up reveal last month.
Maura is joining having become one of the ITV2 dating show’s breakout stars.
Rev Coles meanwhile will have a variety of tales to tell from his wild days as a pop star in the Eighties, through to performing on Strictly and his later life as a man of the cloth.
Their arrival will be a surprise to the other campmates and will likely occur during a fun, themed trial.
Last year, sporting duo Tony Bellew and Frankie Detorri led two teams in an athletics challenge.
In 2021’s series, which was based in Gwrych Castle in Wales, soap pairing Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt were the late check-ins.
It comes as boxing legend Barry McGuigan has told how his dream campmate would be his wife.
He gushed: “We’re 43 years married and I’m still madly in love with her.
“She knows me and we would bump along very well. She’s an amazing girl. If you’re going to encounter problems and issues, she is phenomenal.”
WAG Coleen, meanwhile, has revealed an embarrassing habit hubby Wayne reckons will annoy her I’m A celebrity campmates.
She’s usually preened and perfect – but the WAG has confessed she SNORES.
Coleen said: “I didn’t think I snored, but Wayne says I snore. Not continuously though – just every now and again.
“I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it.
“I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am.”
