2 injured in shooting in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Two people were injured in a shooting Friday night in Lafayette.

It happened in the 800 block of E. Vermilion Street. One victim was found at the scene with injuries. The second victim was taken to a local hospital also with injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing at this time.
