Franklin home destroyed in fire

FRANKLIN, La. (KLFY) - A Franklin home was destroyed Sunday in a fire.

It happened at a home in the 400 block of Ninth Street in Franklin. Crews from the Franklin and Centerville Fire Departments battled the home fire.

Officials say the home was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The American Red Cross has been contacted to assist the resident.
