Williams-Barnett is not far off the first-team
This latest strike takes the teenager’s tally to an unbelievable nine goals and four assists in eight matches in the Under-18 Premier League this season (Transfermarkt).
With numbers like that, it might only be a matter of time before Ange Postecoglou is tempted to hand him a first-team opportunity.
In fact, Williams-Barnett was an unused substitute in Tottenham’s 3-2 loss to Galatasaray in the Europa League last week, which shows that he is not a long way away from making his senior debut.
