Veterans Day restaurant deals, including free meals and coffee Monday around Chicago, nationally
Some restaurant chains operating in Chicago and across the country are offering Veterans Day specials on Monday.
Most require proof of service, such as a form of veteran, military or military-dependent identification — such as a Veteran ID Card or DD214 card showing time of service. Many offers are limited to dine-in eating.
Among the deals:
Starbucks: free coffee
Veterans, service members and military spouses get a free “tall” 12-ounce brewed coffee, hot or iced, on Monday at participating Starbucks stores. Cold Brew isn’t included.
Buffalo Wild Wings: free wings
Veterans and current members of the armed services with a valid ID can get 10 free boneless wings and fries on Monday. The offer is good for dine-in and, if ordering from a Buffalo Wild Wings Go location, for walk-in and orders placed at the counter only.
Applebee’s: free menu
Veterans and active-duty military, reserves and National Guard can get a free meal Monday at Applebee’s from a Veterans Day menu that includes a six-ounce sirloin, "Classic Bacon Cheeseburger" and "Double Crunch Shrimp."
Chili’s: free entree
Veterans and active military personnel can get a free entree from a Veterans Day menu that doesn't include drinks.
Bar Louie: free burger
Veterans and active members o the military can get a free burger when they dine in on Monday.
