'UK' code to fly into history; Air India-Vistara merger to be reality from November 12

Vistara will operate its last flights on Monday night. Vistara flights will use the code 'AI2XXX' from Tuesday. Vistara will merge with Air India. Singapore Airlines will have a 25.1% stake in the merged entity. The merged Air India will have a fleet of 208 planes. Air India's frequent flyer program will be known as 'Maharaja Club'.
