Showman’s wagon transformed into a 1-bed seaside home is straight out of Hollywood film – & you can stay for £72 a night
A HOMEOWNER transformed a 1920s Showman’s wagon into a one-bedroom gaff straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster.
And punters won’t have to break the bank if they fancy calling it home for a few days.

The property is ideal for two people and will set you back £72 per night.
The owner says the home was inspired by her dreams of running away to the circus.
“Set in the Sussex countryside our beautiful showman’s wagon is now resting. She has spent many years looking after showmen travelling around the countryside housing show folk and fair ground people,” states the listing.
“Her history and that of the travelling community is a magical fascinating part of history. It is a privilege for us to own and gives us pleasure to be able to share with anyone who would like to stay.
“The garden and surrounding countryside are part of the charm of our wagon in summer and winter.
“The wagon has a cosy seating area, a fold down table, we have equipped her with a double plug in electric hob, kettle and toaster for light cooking, saucepans cutlery plates cups glasses, there is a very small fridge just big enough for a bottle of milk and a can or two, a 5ltr pump flask is there with water and can be filled from outside tap.
“There are two heaters that keep the wagon nice and warm. A picnic basket with picnic plates, glasses and cutlery are also provided.
“The bedroom area has a standard double bed and there is a smart tv so you can watch some films on Netflix should you wish to.
“Outside is a table and chairs a small BBQ overlooking a large private garden which is reached by some steps for you to use should you wish to.
“The old outside toilet has been turned into a wet room with a corner loo sink and shower.
However, Keely warned future customers that their stay may not be without inconvenience.
She continued: “Please note that due to the rural location the water pressure can sometimes drop, if this does happen the shower may not work for a short time it is something that we are used to living with and does not happen very often, we apologise should this happen it is just part of living in such a beautiful setting.
“The wagon unfortunately is not suitable for dogs so we have decided it is best that we don’t allow them.
