Mahendra Singh Mewar of erstwhile Mewar royal family dies at 83

Mahendra Singh Mewar, former BJP MP and member of the Mewar royal family, passed away at 83 in Udaipur. A descendant of Maharana Pratap, he served as the Lok Sabha MP from Chittorgarh in 1989. Prime Minister Modi, Rajasthan CM, and other leaders expressed condolences, acknowledging his contributions to Rajasthan's heritage and social welfare.
