Maharashtra elections: Congress suspends seven more rebel candidates

The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee took strict action against rebel candidates. The MPCC suspended seven more candidates for anti-party activities. This brings the total number of suspended candidates to 28. These candidates are contesting against the official nominees of the Maha Vikas Aghadi. The Congress had warned of strict action against those going against the party line.
