Edo Queens thrash Ethiopian club in CAF WCL opener

Nigerian champions Edo Queens made a dream start to their 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League campaign on Sunday, beating fellow debutants CBE of Ethiopia 3-0 in a Group B fixture at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca, Morocco. Goals from Emem Peace, Folashade Ijamilusi, and second-half substitute Goodness Osigwe did the job for Moses Aduku’s side.
