Watch: Ohio State marching band performs hit songs featuring iconic animals from iconic musicians

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The Best Damn Band in the Land brought zoo animals to The Horseshoe, which featured iconic animal themed songs from iconic musicians.

During halftime of the Buckeyes’ game against Purdue, the marching band took an adventure into the wild and performed hit songs such as “Born to Run” by Bruce Springsteen, Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like the Wolf”, Toto’s “Africa”, and Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger”.

In addition to a wolf and tiger, TBDBITL unique formations featured an elephant, monkey, and a bear. A total of nine songs were performed, all arranged by composer Michael Klesh.

Next weekend, the marching band is set to perform at the Bands of America Grand National Championships in Indianapolis.
