Nice start to weekend, beneficial soaking rain Sunday
Skies will be mostly sunny, with a gradual increase in high clouds. Temperatures will peak in the low 60s. Clouds will thicken overnight, as showers move in from the southwest ahead of a warm front lifting north.
Low pressure will track from the central Plains to the Upper Midwest, bringing periods of rain and breezy weather on Sunday ahead of a cold front. A widespread beneficial rainfall totaling up to an inch is expected.
Sunny and slightly cooler weather will follow on Veterans Day and Tuesday, as high pressure builds across the Great Lakes and Northeast.
A cold front will move through the region Wednesday night with some showers, followed by clearing and seasonably cool weather later in the week.
