Woman killed, man injured in Northeast Portland apartment shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A shooting in a Northeast Portland apartment left a woman dead and a man hospitalized early Saturday morning, police said.

Just after 2 a.m., officers responded to the area of Northeast 146th Avenue and Burnside on reports of a shooting in an apartment.

On arrival, they found a woman dead at the scene and an injured man, who was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

Police say they are not seeking any suspects at this time.

For the duration of the investigation, Northeast 146th Avenue was closed between East Burnside Street and Northeast Everett Street.
