Molly Leonard was so poorly during her last hospital stay that she was almost put on palliative care. She was on bed rest and at an extreme low point and struggled to see a way out of it. The now 26-year-old first started experiencing signs of anorexia when she was 15. She hid everything from her family, waking in the middle of the night to exercise, and giving her food away at school, no one knew what was going on. Then she went to university, and the need to hide wasn't there any more, as the then teenager from Rhoose was far enough away from her family that they wouldn't see what she was doing.
