Sunny skies to start weekend, rain showers on the way

FORECAST DISCUSSION:

The weekend kicks off with mostly sunny skies across Central Ohio. Clear conditions are expected to last through the morning and the very first part of the afternoon. Gradually a few clouds will move in as temperatures top off around 60 degrees.

Tonight more clouds build up and eventually rain chances are going to increase. The best chance for overnight shower will be closest to the early morning hours. Wind speeds will start to pick up as well. Lows will only fall to the upper 40s making it a very mild night for the area.

Sunday brings plenty of rain showers for virtually all of Central Ohio. Rain totals around 1 inch are expected fall. This would be the greatest single day rain total since late September. Winds are also going to be breezy at times. Highs are expected to reach the low 60s.

Skies will gradually clear out for Veterans Day on Monday. A series of cold fronts will eventually knock temps to seasonable by Tuesday. Additional chances of showers move in late Wednesday into Thursday morning. Dry conditions will become dry once again by the start of the upcoming weekend.
