The budget super chain has debuted its new “Sip and Sparkle” range, including a bunch of sweet treats.

Announcing the line, the brochure said: “Get ready to spark up the good times with friends and family.”

The headline product is the Ballycastle “country cream”, which fans have identified as an equivalent to beloved tipple Baileys.

But while a 70cl bottle of the original stuff will set you back £16.50 at Tesco, the Aldi dupes are less than half the price at £7.49.

The supermarket has introduced a bevvy of new flavours for the festive season.

There’s a standard white chocolate version, as well as a “milk chocolate peanut butter” which looks to be inspired by Reese’s Pieces.

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.

Perhaps the most familiar to Brits, though, will be the “milk chocolate clementine” flavour, which seems to have hints of the iconic Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

The trio have already hit shelves, being released on November 7, but will only be available for a limited time.

However, there’s a pair of even more luxurious offerings included in the lineup.

The brand has also released an Irish Cream product, elevated with its Specially Selected tag.

There will be two flavours – Espresso Chocolate and Billionaire’s – available as 50cl bottles for just £8.99.

Elsewhere in the range, customers can pick up a 400g tub of C Choceur Instant Hot Chocolate for £1.69.

And they can also grab a pack of six Braeburn apples, recommended for toffee apples, for 99p.

It comes after our consumer team taste-tested 12 festive supermarket sandwiches to determine a winner.
