Capital Region restaurant inspections: Oct. 28- Nov. 1
These are the inspections from October 28 to November 1 reported by the NYSDOH divided up by critical violations, non-critical violations and no violations. You can find a list of all restaurant inspections for the last several years on the NYSDOH website.
Whiskey Pickle reopens in Troy
After closing for good at the end of September, the Whiskey Pickle announced it would be reopening under new ownership on November 7.
Cookie wholesaler opening first retail location in Amsterdam
Angelo Bonsignore started the company Cookies from Brooklyn in 2016. He’s now opening his first retail store in Amsterdam’s Riverfront Center.
Restaurant opening in ex-Clifton Park Ninety-Nine space
Marrello Restaurants and Catering is opening up another restaurant in the former Ninety-Nine Restaurant building in Clifton Park. Owner Joe Marrello told NEWS10 they bought the building and the sale was finalized at the beginning of November.
BARE Blends hosting grand re-opening celebration in Clifton Park
BARE Blends will be returning to Clifton Park with a grand re-opening celebration starting on Friday. The plant-based café will be hosting celebration events all weekend long.
Where to get Thanksgiving dinner in the Capital Region
Thanksgiving Day is coming up on Thursday, November 28. While many people like to cook their Thanksgiving meals themselves, others may prefer to get their meals catered or to dine-in at restaurants.
Cohoes taco spot under new ownership
The Daisy Bar + Tacos, located at 182 Remsen Street in Cohoes, has a new owner. Rob Tario, a familiar name in the Capital Region dining scene, was officially announced as the new owner on October 17.
