Roger Stone warns pal Trump: With your 'reinvigorated star' comes infiltration dangers
One of Donald Trump's oldest allies is warning him about MAGA charlatans who will try to infiltrate his administration.
Writing on his website, Roger Stone sent a message to those building out the new Trump administration to be mindful of those who were quick to abandon him — and throw him under the bus.
"The significance of Trump’s presidential victories cannot be erased, but with his reinvigorated star comes the danger of infiltration," wrote Stone.
He added: "When Trump was ousted via deep state coup and blamed for the Fed-surrection of Jan. 6, the rats were fleeing the ship, and it was easier to see the enemy’s true colors. Now that Trump is back on top, it becomes far more difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff."

One of those on the list is former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. While he was happy to campaign for Trump in the end, Pompeo spent most of the 2024 election on the sidelines, said Stone. In fact, Pomepo even thought about running for president himself in 2024, despite knowing that Trump intended to announce.
Nikki Haley is another one, said Stone. She may have endorsed him, but she is nothing more than a "political chameleon who has changed with the times in ways that are incredibly self-serving."
"Pompeo and Haley will be far from the only two infiltrators who attempt to worm their way back into Trump’s good graces and subvert his America First agenda in the administration for their own ends, but they stand as the three most egregious examples of the type of person who should be excluded in the administration," Stone wrote while only citing two people among those three examples.
Stone said the biggest policy for a White House is the personnel and if he intends to usher in his agenda "these shady characters and their ilk ought to be expelled from the America First movement for good."
