Lil Wayne’s Daughter Reginae Carter Attends Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Event in Alexander Wang Heels

Reginae Carter was spotted wearing Alexander Wang shoes while attending Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Event on Thursday night in Barbados. 

Dressed to impress, Carter wore a pair of the popular Nova 105 PVC Strap Sandals from Alexander Wang, which are regarded for their chic and sultry design. The shoes are made with a 100 percent Polyvinyl chloride upper and 100 percent cowhide, while the heels feature logo slingback straps and ball chain welt trim detailing as some of their standout features.

Present on the upper portion of the shoe is a thick, clear PVC strap, and a secondary black strap with the brand’s name across the mid-foot. The silhouette is completed with an open-back design and a slender heel measuring a little over 3 inches in height.

For her outfit, Carter wore a one-shoulder cropped halter and a matching skirt that featured a thigh-high slit on the side. She accessorized her look with a beaded necklace and black  oversized sunglasses. 

Carter shared photos from the event on Instagram, one alongside Rihanna, whom she called her “favorite person.” She captioned the post: “I seen My favorite person today. So proud of you @badgalriri. Thank You To @fentybeauty for inviting me tonight and making sure my trip to Barbados was amazing #fentycaribbean #visitbarbados.”

Rihanna kept it tropical in a tavern brown Jalina dress by Cult Gaia, Marie Lichtenberg necklaces, and paired the look with matching brown strappy heels, which had a clear PVC strap over the toes.

Strappy sandals continue to be a go-to footwear choice for celebrities despite being in the fall and winter season. Many brands such as Chanel, Stuart Weitzman and Christian Louboutin carry strappy sandals as a part of their footwear lineup, offering the style in many different iterations, with Ratajowski often wearing many variations of them.

One of those brands is, of course, Alexander Wang, who had a notable runway show over the summer in SoHo. Among the attendees was rapper Ice Spice, who opted for a pair of strappy sandals from the brand that featured black straps adorned with silver studs and an open-toe design that showcased her fierce yet stylish touch and youthful taste.
