High school football scores and highlights for Columbus and central Ohio, Nov. 8, 2024

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- It's on to the second round of the playoffs as high school teams look to make the regional semifinals.

Several No. 1 teams hope to avoid an upset, including undefeated Watterson, which takes on Jackson (9-2) at Ohio Dominican. Olentangy Liberty and Grandview Heights are also top seeds looking to advance.

Rivalry games also headline the second week of the postseason. Hilliard Davidson hosts Hilliard Bradley, and Pickerington Central hosts Pickerington North in a meeting of 9-2 teams.
