Beautiful fall weather, rain returns Sunday
The skies will be sunny, as we enjoy another beautiful fall day, and afternoon temperatures reaching the mild low 60s, slightly above normal for early November.
Tonight will be mainly clear and cool, with morning readings in the upper 30s.
Little change is expected Saturday, with sunshine filtered by increasing high clouds toward evening and light winds. In the Gulf of Mexico.
Low pressure will track from the southern Plains to the Great Lakes later in the weekend, tapping into tropical moisture, which will contribute to periods of rain late Saturday night and Sunday ahead of a cold front. A widespread beneficial rainfall is expected for the second time this week.
Sunny and slightly cooler weather will follow on Veterans Day and Tuesday. The weather will be dry until a midweek cold front arrives, bringing chillier weather later in the week.
