Towie star Roman Hackett risks cast feud as he spends the night with co-star’s ex-girlfriend
TOWIE star Roman Hackett has certainly made his presence felt since swaggering onto the ITVbe show.
But now the 21-year-old could find himself at the centre of a cast feud after he’s been seen getting close to his co-star Sammy Root’s ex girlfriend Jess Harding.
The pair enjoyed a boozy night out in Brentwood with Love Island finalist, 2024, Matilda Draper, 24, in tow.
Roman and Jess serenaded each other with a rendition of The Spice Girls Wannabe song, with Matilda filming the action on her phone.
But some are suggesting that this could be Roman’s revenge after Sammy, who is a newcomer to TOWIE has been enjoying a flirtation with Roman’s ex Dani Imbert, 26.
But it seems that Dani had also take a shine to Sammy soon after he’d arrived on the show, after she sent him a private DM on social media. Roman was said to be fuming when he found out.
Since joining the reality show last series, Roman enjoyed a brief fling with Ella Barnes, but his main romance was with Dani for whom he recently admitted that he still has feelings. But he also admitted that Dani has firmly and finally moved on from him.
He said: “”You know the history between me and Dani [Imbert], it’s been an on and off thing.
“It’s similar to the Pete [Wicks] and Ella [Rae Wise] situation. Everytime we’re together we flirt.
“If I’m honest with you, I have feelings for her, but she doesn’t have feelings for me.”
Before the series opener that was filmed in Cyprus, Rom an had hinted that he and Dani might enjoy a holiday romance.
He said: “I’m a very, like, flirtatious person, and I find it hard not to flirt with her.”
When asked directly about the Cyrus hook up, Roman played coy, but laughed: “100%. You’ll see… You’ll see something.”
