List: Columbus-area restaurants featured on Guy Fieri's 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives'

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) —  Columbus native and celebrity chef Guy Fieri has recently made the tasting rounds in his hometown featuring six local restaurants on his Food Network show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.”

The list below includes the central Ohio eateries on the most recent “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” season and the places covered in Fieri's previous tour of the area on Seasons 27 and 28, back in 2017 and 2018.

High Bank Distillery Co.

Special dishes: Menu items that Fieri taste-tested included the spicy chicken sandwich, barbacoa nachos, hot honey chicken and biscuits, brussels sprouts and wings.

Joya’s

Details: Asian-inspired café run by chef Avishar Barua, who competed on Bravo’s “Top Chef” in 2021 and previously appeared on the Food Network in May 2023, winning two rounds on “Beat Bobby Flay.”
Special dishes: This café serves Bengali-American dishes, and includes vegetarian and vegan options, open for breakfast, lunch and “Popup Dinner.”

Tommy’s Diner

Details: A classic American diner known for its traditional breakfasts and sandwiches.
Special dishes: Owner Tom Pappas’ favorite menu items include corned beef for breakfast, the club sandwich for lunch, and chicken lemon rice soup, which is featured as a Tuesday special. He said their homemade desserts are also popular, especially the carrot cake and cheesecake.
