MAFS UK fans beg producers to step in after ‘constant red flags’ from groom

MARRIED at First sights Amy Victoria Kenyon and Luke Debono appear to be the picture perfect couple, designed by reality TV producers.

But up close, the pair appear to be a contentious match, constantly bickering and locking horns.

Now TV fans on social media have called for the MAFS production team to step in as Luke is showing signs of being a compulsive liar.

One said:  “Luke’s lying is a huge red flag, he can’t seem to tell the truth ever. I’d be out of there after this many lies. In my experience of men, cheating or bigger lies starts with ‘little lies.”

Another person commented: “He does lie too easily to avoid difficult situations and ends up making it much worse. It does come across as shady, especially when his whole persona does seem a little affected and less than genuine.

Meanwhile another viewer added: “ Luke doesn’t seem authentic to me and it’s a total red flag to disregard boundaries as much as he does.”

Indeed viewers were left appalled when Luke referred to his wife as being ‘bloated’ on Monday nights episode. She then retorted by saying, ‘”I am absolutely fuming, he’s calling me hideous” during the homestays part of the TV show.

The so called homestay element involves visiting each others home towns to see how compatiable they are in each others lives, as Amy took her new husband home to Blackburn in the north west.

During the visit to her childhood home, Luke saw an old photo of her on the staircase during  atrip to Ibiza to which he said that she looked, ‘bloated’ but that she was ‘skinnier’ now.

He said: ‘I prefer you now, is this before the glow up?’ he asked, as she sarcastically said ‘thanks’.

He added: ‘You look stunning there, but you look stunning here more. You look skinnier now than in there.

‘You look skinnier now than in here. In here you look… bloated.’

Amy was quivering with rage in her piece to camera, as she said:  ‘I’m absolutely fuming right now. Luke’s saying I basically look hideous in this photo.

‘Nothing’s changed I just had my teeth done. Bit of filler in my lip. That’s it. Glow up? Bloated?!’

Then later in her piece to camera, Amy was left quivering with rage. She said:

Indeed viewers were also taken aback by Lukes frank statement airing their distate on social media site, X.

One said: “Viewers were stunned at his comments as they penned on X (Twitter) after the episode aired: ‘Luke is 100% being petty now comments about her ‘pre glow up’, the mould in her room lmao.’,

‘Lol Amy and Luke need to call it a day.’,

‘How he communicates and how she receives said communication are polar opposites. They shouldn’t even finish the week together.’,

‘Luke just verbalizes every single thought he has. He needs to take a moment and think about what he’s about to say before he says it.’,

Brother, Luke, please, just stop. I mean, you’re hilarious but come on man, you’re not helping yourself.’

Prior to their Blackburn visit the couple had already come to blows at Lukes house when he was caugt lying about have doctored a photograph that had been displayed on this way.

When asked by Amy why half the photo was missing, Luke had lied by saying that he’d wanted to be ‘a portrait photo.”

But Amy wasn’t easily fooled and eventually pushed him into confessing that there had been a woman he’d since cut from the photo.

Now it seems it could be only a matter of time before this couple call it quits.
