Wendy's closing 140 more restaurants in push to update its locations

DUBLIN, Ohio: Wendy's will close 140 more U.S. locations by the end of this year, adding to the 100 closures announced in May.

Despite these closures, the fast-food chain plans to balance its footprint by opening 250 to 300 new restaurants in 2024, according to a recent call with investors.
