Loose styrofoam block

What a great forum to learn about my newly acquired Sunfish. The knowledge and experience among this group of sailors is incredible and I am grateful to all.
I encountered an unexpected issue while repairing a missing deck cleat. The entire forward port side styrofoam block has somehow broke free from its foamed in anchorage. Any ideas on how to reset it into its original position with only one hand through the inspection port? Or should I just leave it alone without any deck support in that...
