Estonian ministry bill to pave way for centralized personal loans database

The Ministry of Finance has drafted a bill that would enable Estonian credit institutions to jointly establish a positive credit register – a comprehensive database listing all personal loans. The goal is to reduce the risk of people becoming overburdened by debt.
