Central intelligence agencies alert northeastern states on Bangladesh-linked terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen

Central intelligence agencies have issued an alert to northeastern states regarding activities of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). Increased vigilance is in effect due to concerns about the group's potential expansion plans. Assam and Tripura are coordinating efforts to apprehend illegal immigrants, with over 138 individuals already apprehended and returned to Bangladesh in recent months.
