ATCEMS: 1 seriously injured after northeast Austin crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person was seriously injured after a crash in northeast Austin Thursday evening, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.

Officials responded to the 10700 block of Dessau Road for what the Austin Fire Department said was a multi-vehicle crash. Crews extricated one person from their vehicle, the agency said on social media.

ATCEMS medics said one person was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with "critical, life-threatening injuries."

Drivers should expect traffic delays near the scene. No other details were released Wednesday.
