Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Divorce Update: Source Reveals if They're Ready to Date Again & If They Speak

An insider opened up about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck amid their ongoing divorce.

The 55-year-old entertainer filed for divorce in August after months of speculation that she and the 52-year-old actor were going through a rough patch.

Shortly after Jennifer filed, Ben sparked romance rumors amid reports that he was hanging out with another woman.

Now, a source revealed if the couple is still in contact. They also spoke about if they are ready to start dating again.

Speaking to ET, the insider said that Jennifer and Ben reportedly have “limited contact amid their divorce.”

“The former couple is doing well overall, but at the moment they’re focused on their families, work commitments and just moving forward,” they added.

As for dating again, it doesn’t seem like either is focused on getting back out there.

“Ben has other priorities that are more important than dating at this point, but he’s open to it,” they said.

Meanwhile, “Jen‘s friends and family are giving her time and space to move on. Her loved ones want to see her get out there again and finally get her happy ever after.”
