Marjorie Taylor Greene says she deserves a Cabinet position before Elon Musk

0

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) argued she deserved a position in Donald Trump's next presidential administration instead of MAGA newcomers like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Greene made the remarks Wednesday after a question from Real America's Voice host Beau Davidson.

"So, as we look forward to this new Trump administration, who among those who have been around him, from Elon Musk to RFK to Vivek Ramaswamy, do you hope has a position in the next administration?" Davidson asked.

"Those are brand-new people," Greene pointed out. "RFK, Vivek, they both tried to beat him in the presidential race this year."

Greene said she would rather see people "who stood with President Trump from the beginning, never backed down, never stabbed him in the back, never tried to beat him."

"And there's those of us that have been very loyal," she noted, referring to herself. "We understand the policies. We support them through and through. And I'd like to see people like us that have done that very much involved."

Greene pledged to back Trump's agenda even if he did not give her a new job.

"And I'll tell you, as a member of Congress, I will be fighting my own party to make sure that we pass his agenda because that's why I ran for Congress in the first place," she insisted.

Brian Glenn, Greene's boyfriend, agreed.

"I wasn't willing to give the keys to the kingdom or roll out the red carpet for a lot of these people that are new on the scene," Glenn opined. "By the way, Elon Musk won't formally get into any cabinet because he has to disclose all of the financial reports."
