Restaurant opening in ex-Clifton Park Ninety-Nine space

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Marrello Restaurants and Catering is opening up another restaurant in the former Ninety-Nine Restaurant building in Clifton Park. Owner Joe Marrello told NEWS10 they bought the building and the sale was finalized at the beginning of November.

Marrello said they had been looking for a location to open in Clifton Park for a while. Marrello Restaurants and Catering currently has several eateries: Jacob & Anthony's American Grille in Saratoga Springs, Jacob & Anthony’s Italian in Stuyvesant Plaza, Bellini’s in Slingerlands, and The Bellini's Counter in downtown Albany, Stuyvesant Plaza, and Latham.

For the former Ninety-Nine building at 306 Clifton Center Road, Marrello said they're opening a new concept for Jacob & Anthony’s: Jacob & Anthony’s Grille. This location will also include a new Bellini's Counter.

Jacob & Anthony’s Grille will be an upscale dining experience. The menu will include steak, seafood, salads, sandwiches, and the classic J&A Burger. The restaurant will also have an extensive wine list and cocktails. The Bellini’s Counter will feature fast-casual pasta, wraps and salads.

Ninety-Nine in Clifton Park closed in June 2023 due to industry challenges. In August, the Ninety-Nine in Colonie closed its doors due to the restaurant's lease expiring.

The former Ninety-Nine building, located next to Chick-fil-A, will need to go through renovations before Jacob & Anthony’s Grille can open. Marrello said they are looking to open the restaurant in the spring of 2025.
