China says its policy with the U.S. will remain ‘consistent’

Chinese strategists are expecting potentially crippling tariffs from Trump.

China will continue to work with the United States on the basis of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation, a foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday, shortly before Donald Trump claimed victory in the U.S. presidential election.
