CARL ALBERT STATE COLLEGE HONORED AS REGIONAL WINNER IN ANTHOLOGY’S FIX YOUR CONTENT DAY 2024
Anthology Inc. celebrated the tremendous achievements of colleges and universities worldwide in its annual Fix Your Content Day, a 24-hour initiative aimed at improving digital accessibility in higher education. On October 3, institutions competed globally to create more inclusive online learning environments, collectively achieving an impressive 41,749 “content fixes” to improve the accessibility of course files.
Using Anthology Ally—a tool designed to make digital materials more accessible—participants addressed a variety of accessibility issues in their digital content, logging improvements to each file’s accessibility score. A live leaderboard allowed institutions to track and celebrate their progress in real-time, with top-performing schools receiving global recognition for their commitment to accessible learning.
As part of this initiative, Carl Albert State College was recognized as a regional winner for its exceptional efforts in enhancing the accessibility of its digital content. This honor reflects the college’s commitment to inclusivity and its dedication to providing an accessible educational experience for all students.
Fix Your Content Day is a core part of Anthology’s broader commitment to increasing accessibility awareness across the education sector. This initiative complements other efforts like Global Accessibility Awareness Month, reinforcing Anthology’s mission to support institutions in creating more inclusive and equitable learning environments.
Anthology thanks all participating institutions for their contributions and congratulates this year’s winners on their achievements in promoting accessible education.
