Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant after a clash over handling the war with Hamas in Gaza. Gallant, who disagreed with Netanyahu on military strategy and cease-fire talks, was replaced by Foreign Minister Israel Katz.
