Westbound I-80 reopened at Harlem Avenue after pedestrian struck
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 80 near Harlem Avenue on Tuesday, temporarily closing the westbound lanes.
The westbound lanes were closed for around four hours Tuesday after a person was hit about 10:30 a.m., Illinois State Police said.
The victim was taken in critical condition to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, state police said.
No further information was immediately available.
