Last month The Sun reported how Home Bargains shoppers were racing to the store to get their hands on a family-friendly Christmas stocking filler.
Shoppers were able to grab a creative collection that will keep the kids entertained for hours.
The Grinchmas Activity Pack included a colouring book, activity book, write-your-own-story book, stickers and mini coloured pencils.
The bountiful bundle was on the shelves for only £1.99.
With two of the activity booklets stating they contain over 30 pages each, it’s difficult to agree with the infamous antihero about hating Christmas.
The deal had savvy shoppers taking to social media to share the bargain with friends and posting it on saver pages
How to save money at Home Bargains
The key to spotting the best deals at Home Bargains isn’t where to look but when.
If you manage to hit the right timing you can find deals for as little at 69p.
Keeping an eye on the Home Bargains website will tell which offers are set to drop – like this year’s Halloween specials.
This type of seasonal stock is often offered at a reasonable price but especially afterwards.
Big price drops will happen after big public holidays like Easter and Christmas, so you can bag a bargain at a fraction of the price at these times.

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…
Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.
Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.
Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.
Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.
Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.
When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.
Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.
Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.
And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
