I really don't listen to the radio, apart from to WM Sport driving to and from St. Andrews. Mrs Tam sometimes has some local 70s Hits station playing at the weekend, with what sounds like Smashie and Nicey on the mike, but I generally manage to keep out of the way,
But Bob Brolly's voice really used to grate on me, as did Carl Chinn's and Malcolm Boyden's.
My folks used to Brolly's Irish show on WM on a Sunday for years. He'd be chatting away then would stop and go... let's play a song now... it's one of mine... and I thought, can you do that?
