Stephanotis floribunda
Photographer: Menashe DavidsonSummary Author: Menashe Davidson
The Stephanotis floribunda is a cherished plant in many gardens, including mine. It's commonly known as Madagascar jasmine or bridal wreath and is renowned for both its distinctive flowering characteristics and it's jasmine-like scent. Stephanotis floribunda produces clusters of nearly pure white, star-shaped flowers that are tubular with a spreading corolla. Its sweet aroma is particularly strong during the evening and nighttime. Photos were taken on July 12, 2024, in my home garden in Rishon LeZion, Israel.
