Rays Tank: Brandon Lowe retained, Cole Figueroa hired by Rangers as Asst. GM
The Rays have lost another senior member of the front office to a promotion at another club, with former Rays infielder turned front office director Cole Figueroa joining the Texas Rangers, per Evan Grant at the Dallas News.
Figueroa was a hitting coordinator before entering a front office role in 2021, rising to the director level, working alongside fellow Director of Baseball Operations Hamilton Marx and senior advisor Jon Daniels, who was previously the head of the Rangers front office.
