Thomas, ‘Bear’ key UNLV men’s basketball to win in season opener

Sophomore point guard Dedan Thomas Jr. and newcomer Jeremiah “Bear” Cherry led UNLV to a season-opening victory over Alabama State at Thomas & Mack Center.
