This 'Sopranos' Star Is Preparing for the Apocalypse

0

Bunker-building billionaires like Jeff Bezos aren't the only ones preparing now for an apparently-impending apocalypse. Drea de Matteo, who rose to prominence playing Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos, is also doing some construction on her property in anticipation of things hitting the fan.

De Matteo spoke about her life today and commented on current events in a new interview with Variety. She's been outspoken about her anti-vaccine and pro-Trump views in recent years, and the actress and OnlyFans star is reinforcing her home in the Hollywood Hills in case of civil unrest after tomorrow's presidential election, regardless of the outcome.

"I have people coming to measure my house for gates. For the apocalypse," she said from her Laurel Canyon home.

De Matteo has been able to enjoy having her own home despite a dip in acting jobs in recent years thanks to her successful OnlyFans account. In an interview with The Daily Mail earlier this year, she explained how selling risqué photos saved her from losing her house.

"They put me into foreclosure and my house had flooded, so I was trying to sell the house quickly. I wanted to try and sell it before they took it," she said. "At the same time, I lost my mom, and my other mom, who has dementia, had run out of money for her caregiver. I didn't know which way was up."

The more she posted racy photos, the more money she was bringing in, and soon she took her financial destiny into her own hands. "I kept putting more pictures up," she remembered. "I was like, holy s--t. In five minutes, I was able to pay back [the real estate company] who kept the sale of my house."

De Matteo continues to work as an actress today, appearing on Power Book II: Ghost earlier this year and in two forthcoming movies, Nonnas and That's Amore!
