Bharat Forge emerges lowest bidder in Indian Army's tender to buy 307 ATAGS howitzers

Bharat Forge Limited won a contract to supply the Indian Army with 307 ATAGS howitzers. The deal is worth over Rs 6,000 crore. Bharat Forge will manufacture 60 percent of the howitzers, while Tata Advanced Systems Limited will produce the remaining 40 percent. This is the first sale of these indigenously developed howitzers within India.
