Three Acadiana men attempt to smuggle contraband into federal prison

GRANT PARISH, La. (WNTZ) - An investigation by the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office led to three people from south Louisiana being arrested for attempting to smuggle in cell phones, drugs and alcohol into the Federal Prison.
Kolby Mitchell, 27 years old, of Abbeville, was arrested for Attempting to Introduce Contraband into a Prison and Possession of Marijuana.
Tayjha Alfred, 24 years old, of New Iberia, was arrested for Attempting to Introduce Contraband into a Prison and Possession of Marijuana.
Shemar Collette, 28 years old, of New Iberia, was arrested for Attempting to Introduce Contraband into a Prison and Possession of Marijuana.
