Insiders Allege That Andrew Garfield Is Still 'Haunted' By Emma Stone Breakup Nearly a Decade Later

Remember when Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were the It-couple from 2011 to 2015? Well, today, Stone is happily married to Dave McCary and is the proud mom of a baby girl named Louise. As for Garfield, he recently broke up with Kate Tomas, a spiritual advisor. However, insiders claim that Garfield is having a hard time letting go of the past when it comes to Stone.

In case you missed it, insiders recently told Life and Style Magazine that Garfield is allegedly “haunted by guilt and regret,” nearly a decade after the breakup.

“He’s convinced he let the love of his life slip through his fingers,” they said. “But Emma is married now to Dave McCary and has a daughter, so Andrew is stuck with his memories.”

They added, “Friends say Andrew will never find the right girl if he keeps moping about the past!”

Breakups can be hard, and there’s no correct timeline for how to mourn them. We just hope he has good friends to rely on.

For those who don’t know, Garfield and Stone originally met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man, and started dating soon after. They were together until Oct 2015. Since then, they did spark reconciliation rumors in 2017, but have moved on and spoken highly of each other in interviews.

Since Garfield and Stone broke up, he’s dated stars like Rita Ora, Alyssa Miller, and Thomas.
